Using Bimba for free is absolutely all right. We don’t ask or rely on donations. If you want to contribute financially, here's how

According to fiscal law, anonymous donations may require paying income tax, while non-anonymous ones have a separate, higher tax-free threshold. Weigh your options and choose wisely. Additionally, Liberapay donations are processed by Stripe, which takes a cut in fees.

Currently, expenses comprise:

• bimba.app domain – $12.85/year (~€11.85)
• part of apiote.xyz subdomains – $0.77/year (~€0.70)
• one third of mail expenses on Migadu – $6.33/year (~€5.85)
• energy for the server behind the counter – ~€41.50/year

Plans include moving domains to one registrar (hopefully, European one which uses green energy), which might cost a bit more, renting a dedicated server for €12.99/month which will replace the current expense for server energy, and ultimately moving from apiote.xyz subdomains to bimba.app. This all depends on my and Bimba's incomes. Taking all this into account, maintaining Bimba's infrastructure would cost about €175/year, or about €14.60/month.

If anybody decides to support Bimba, we'll see at the end of the year and dedicate a percentage of donations to tools and services, without which Bimba wouldn't exist
